Michelle received her Juris Doctor from the University of Ottawa English Common Law Program in 2020. Prior to law school, she obtained a Bachelor of Arts with High Distinction from the University of Toronto, majoring in Classical Civilizations and Political Science.
While in law school, Michelle completed an exchange term at Erasmus University Rotterdam, focusing on international and comparative law. Michelle has also worked as a legal intern with the Department of Justice at Canadian Heritage, where she worked on cultural property and immunity from seizure laws. In addition to her studies, Michelle has designed housing law workshops at Street Smart Advocacy to help inform street involved youth of their legal rights through creative and accessible means.
In her free time, Michelle enjoys volunteering with youth art organizations, biking, and perfecting the art of making schnitzel.
