Amelia was called to the bar in 2018 after obtaining her Juris Doctor from the University of Windsor. Prior to law school, Amelia obtained her Honours Bachelor of Arts degree, with a specialization in Political Science from Western University.
Amelia completed her articles with an insurance defence firm in Hamilton Ontario, where she gained valuable experience in personal injury litigation and coverage disputes.
After her articles and call to the bar, Amelia was employed as a personal injury lawyer at a plaintiff side firm in Hamilton where she assisted senior counsel with complex claims involving motor vehicle accidents, statutory accident benefits, pedestrian accidents, slip/trip and falls, and occupier’s liability. Amelia obtained extensive experience in both formal litigation at the Superior Court and Tribunal levels and in negotiation/resolution.
Amelia is a member of the Advocates’ Society and Ontario Trial Lawyer’s Association. In her spare time, Amelia enjoys spending time outdoors, cooking traditional Greek meals, and traveling.
